Cycling Glenwood Canyon - Safety Tips

• Wear a bike helmet, carry sufficient water.
• Ride single file, on the right side of the trail; watch for bike riders, hikers, dogs and roller bladers.
• Walk on the ramp to and from the bike overpass over Interstate 70. (Gravel and rocks on trail)
• Ride to right of the center line where a center line is painted.
• Watch for vehicle and pedestrian traffic in each of the rest areas and in No Name.
• Trail maintenance equipment may be on the trail; walk your bike past the equipment.
• Do not ride too close to the Interstate 70 retaining wall where the wall is next to the trail.
• Be aware of changing weather and bike trail conditions; watch for rocks on the trail.
