Brown Cycles makes our favorite kids tandem. The adult controls the steering, breaking, gearing in the back, and the child sits up front and pedals and enjoys the view. This allows the adult to keep on eye on what the kids are up to (making sure they don't cheat and not pedal) and talk more freely.
